This special advance screening was made possible by directors Phil Lord '97 and Chris Miller '97. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

The first-ever LEGO movie is the story of a nobody who saved everybody. Directed by Phil Lord ‘97 & Chris Miller ‘97 (21 Jump StreetCloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), this theatrical adventure stars Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

Emmet is an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.  He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. The story incorporates some of the LEGO world’s most popular figures while introducing several new characters--all voiced by an all-star cast.
