The Dartmouth Argentine Tango Society is inviting you to a winter term introductory tango course with 9 classes, starting on January 6th, every Monday from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, taught by Marta Ceroni and Armin Helisch. After the classes there will be practice dancing (practica) until at least 10 pm experienced dancers will be available for helping you and giving you feedback as much as you want. The last class of the term will be on 3 March 2014.

The classes will be held at Occom Commons in the McLaughlin Cluster, Maynard Street, Hanover, NH - with exception of 1/13, 1/27, 2/3 when they will probably be held at Sarner East (please check our emails and here for confirmation). There is no need to bring a partner, as many people will come without partners and partner rotations will be encouraged during the class. Please bring a pair of clean shoes which allow you to pivot on the dance floor.

The course qualifies for PE credit for Dartmouth undergraduate students! :-)

Price: FREE for Dartmouth students. For non-students, only $5 per class or $40 for the whole series of 9 classes (however, please join us anyway, even if you cannot afford to pay - we would love to have you there!). The practicas after the classes are free for everyone.

Please also email DATS@dartmouth.edu  to be added to the mailing list for our most up-to-date information on these classes and possibly other tango workshops this term.
