Join us for Dartmouth's premiere Asian American Book Club! Our first book selection is Ruth Ozeki's A Tale for the Time Being. Free and open to the public, the only expectations for the book club are (1) an interest and passion for reading (2) interest in Asian American issues and identity development, and (3) dedication to attending the scheduled book club meetings during the 2014 winter term.

This book club is a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful and thoughtful literary discussions with Dartmouth students, faculty, staff, and community members -- delving into a variety of cultural, political, social, and personal issues related to the Pan Asian experience. The "Asian American Authors" exhibit is just one of a series of book club events schedule for the 2014 winter term. For more information about the Asian American Book Club visit http://www.dartmouth.edu/~opasa/programs/bookclub.html. This is a collaborative partnership made possible by the Office of Pan Asian Student Advising within OPAL, Asian American Studies, the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity, and the Dartmouth College Library.
