Marc Lynch is Professor of Political Science at the George Washington University, where he directs the Institute for Middle East Studies.  He directs the Project on Middle East Political Science, edits Foreign Policy magazine's Middle East Channel, and is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security.  His most recent books include The Arab Uprising: The Unfinished Revolutions of the New Middle East, and the forthcoming edited volume The Arab Uprisings Explained.
