Note:  This is Day 2 of 2 of the event.  The first day is on Friday, August 2 from 4pm-8pm.

The Startup Experience is a crash course on high-impact entrepreneurship and social innovation. Participants will go through an intense journey to identify a problem and turn it into a viable opportunity for a startup company.

During the workshop, participants will learn how to identify and understand a big problem, screen new technologies, and use design thinking to come up with great new ideas. Working within lean workgroups, participants will then find an innovative business model and use prototyping and visual communication to pitch the idea to a panel of experts.

The Startup Experience simulates the life in a startup company and forces students to get out of their comfort zones. Participants will get hands-on experience with social innovation and gain the necessary confidence to become successful innovators in the future.

The program was created in close collaboration with leading entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley and has been run successfully in 10+ countries around the world.
