Born in Beirut in 1929, Salah Stetie is one of the most singular poetic voices in France today, fluidly blending Western cultures with Oriental and Arabic traditions. Alongside a distinguished career as Lebanese Ambassador, Stetie has been publishing criticism, poetry and translations for 50 years. His talk will offer a poetic reading of revolutionary politics. Reception to follow. For more information, please contact Prof. Yasser Elhariry.
