Colorful Reflections in a Mirror of Emptiness:Early Tibetan Buddhist Art

This lecture will examine disparate examples of early Tibetan Buddhist art from the late 10th to the 13th centuries and reflect on the ways art is used to communicate, to serve as a bridge across the gap between our imperfect world of samsara, cyclic existence, and the world beyond, that of awakening.
