Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty and other members of the community weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“They can have explicit questions about what steps the organization takes to ensure its security of the records and the privacy of their customers, patients in particular,” says Professor David Kotz ’86 in a California Report story about the security breach at Anthem and what states can do to protect consumers.

Kotz is the Champion International Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the associate dean of the faculty for the sciences.
