Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty members weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“I think what nanotechnology offers is the ability to target things to individual cancer cells, and that’s the future of cancer therapy,” says Professor P. Jack Hoopes, co-director of Norris Cotton Cancer Center’s Nanotechnology Working Group, in a Guardian story about the use of nanoparticles in treating cancer patients.

Hoopes is also a professor of surgery and of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine.
