This long-overdue female-driven Marvel story follows the journey of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson, Room) as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. Fans of the Avengers series might recognize her importance to the final battle against Thanos in End Game—but this chapter, set in the 1990s, covers a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition to Carol’s pet cat Chewbacca (yes, even her cat has powers), this superhero epic boasts a huge ensemble cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Djimoun Hounsou, Lee Pace and Jude Law.
