Nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Actress (Margot Robbie) and Best Supporting Actress (Allison Janney).

Based on unbelievable but true events, this darkly comedic tale assembles a cast of unreliable narrators to comment on the career of American figure skater Tonya Harding and one of the most sensational scandals in sports history. Though Harding was the first American woman to complete a triple axel in competition, her legacy was forever defined by her association with an infamous, ill-conceived, and even more poorly executed attack on fellow Olympic competitor Nancy Kerrigan.

Margot Robbie gives a dynamite performance as the fiery Harding, a mustachioed Sebastian Stan plays her impetuous ex-husband, and scene-stealing Allison Janney is riveting as her acid-tongued, diamond-hard mother. This irreverent portrait of Harding in all her unchecked (and checkered) glory offers a rocking soundtrack, along with a piercing critique on class and the struggle female athletes face to be the best while looking the part. D: Craig Gillespie, US, 2017, Runtime: 1h50m
