- Recognize the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and its future projector
- Discuss the state of the health care system, particularly with reference to its impact on care delivery and outcomes
- Describe the challenges and threats facing academic medical centers and consider solutions via the “Academic Medical System” and the example of cardiovascular care.
