Since the late 1960s, TV Globo has been the dominant media presence in Brazil. However, beginning in 2011, the Brazilian mediascape entered the Pay-TV Law Era, resulting in a broad diversification that has challenged TV Globo’s hold over the symbolic representation of the nation.

Reimagining Contemporary Brazilian Television Fiction, his first book, is forthcoming with the University of Pittsburgh Press.
