Learning Objectives:

  1. Define common terminology related to transgender individuals
  2. Understand the principles of hormonal treatment (feminizing and masculinizing hormone use) for transgender adolescents and adults
  3. Review the physiology of puberty and sex hormones
  4. Gain an understanding of fertility implications and options for fertility preservation in the transgender population.
