What better place to spend your Halloween than at the Bates Motel?

Although it is nearly impossible to escape references to Hitchcock’s quintessential horror film, you haven’t seen Psycho until you’ve seen it with an audience. Hitchcock skillfully lures you into identifying with the main characters—then pulls the rug (or bathmat) out from under you. Anthony Perkins is unforgettable as Norman Bates, the Mama’s boy proprietor of the Bates Motel. Janet Leigh is equally captivating as Marion, who makes an impulsive decision and becomes a fugitive from the law, hiding out at Norman's roadside inn for one fateful night.

D: Alfred Hitchcock, US, 1960, 1h49m
