Come join Emily Stephens as she discusses her experience teaching at Bard College in the Citizen Science program. This program, currently accepting applications for 2018 faculty, is a 3-week-long intensive course required of all first-year undergraduate students at Bard College. The goal of Citizen Science is to teach students how to think critically, ask scientific questions, interpret scientific data, and to facilitate students growth into scientifically literate citizens. Faculty teaching this course employ active learning strategies to engage students in classroom discussions and in the laboratory. Come ask questions and learn more about this immersive and rewarding teaching experience. Applications to teach in 2018 are due May 1.  Register: http://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event/3267214
