Software Carpentry events are two days of short, intensive workshops that teach computing and programming skills to researchers. The curriculum for this 2-day workshop will include these core topics:

  • automating tasks using the Unix shell;
  • structured programming in R; and
  • version control using Git.

The workshops consist of intensive hands-on lessons in which researchers learn software skills through short tutorials and practical exercises.
