Software Carpentry events are two days of short, intensive workshops that teach computing and programming skills to researchers. The curriculum for this 2-day workshop will include these core topics:
- automating tasks using the Unix shell;
- structured programming in R; and
- version control using Git.
The workshops consist of intensive hands-on lessons in which researchers learn software skills through short tutorials and practical exercises.
