Cirque Mechanics “Pedal Punk”
Steampunk-inspired circus features spectacular feats on wheels of all sizes in a heart-racing ode to the bicycle.
“A spectacular ride for hipsters and pipsqueaks alike.”
Time Out New York
The inventive Cirque Mechanics (Birdhouse Factory) brings a Steampunk-inspired whirlwind of a circus, in which astoundingly talented and funny performers in Victorian garb execute stunts involving all manner of wheels—hula hoops, unicycles, “penny farthings” and even a pedal-powered, 22-foot-tall contraption off which aerialists swoop and acrobats dive onto trampolines. At the center of it all is a zany bike shop mechanic who creates the wondrous machines that populate this heart-racing ode to the bicycle.
