Banned Books Week, September 21-27, 2014, fights censorship and celebrates the freedom to read. This year focuses on comics and graphic novels that have been the subject of challenges and controversy, from Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis to Vermont cartoonist and MacArthur Fellow Alison Bechdel's Fun Home to Frank Miller's 300. Check out a graphic novel from the exhibit on the south end of Berry Main Street and join the Dartmouth College Library in celebrating the freedom to read.
