About the Speaker:
 

Krista and her team are responsible for the coordinating applications and management of grant funding from U.S. & International funding sources.  She currently oversees over 50 files which the prime funder is the National Institutes of Health (NIH).    Prior to her time at the University of Toronto, she was the Grant Officer for the University Health Network (UHN), a network of UofT affiliate hospitals.   Both UofT and UHN are in the top five for the number of applications awarded to foreign institutions by NIH in 2012.  She attended the NIH Regional Seminar in 2010 and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Grant Policy and Contracts Management Training held in Toronto, Canada in 2009.
